Hiatus House – 50 Year Anniversary

As we reflect on an incredible evening celebrating 50 years of service, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us for the Hiatus House Annual General Meeting and 50th Anniversary Celebration.

For five decades, Hiatus House has been a place of safety, support, and hope for women and children in our community. Reaching this milestone would not have been possible without the dedication, compassion, and generosity of so many individuals and organizations.

Thank you to our donors, community partners, volunteers, staff, Board of Directors, and supporters who have stood beside us throughout the years. Your commitment has helped us provide shelter, counselling, advocacy, education, and countless opportunities for healing and growth.

We are especially grateful to the Windsor-Essex community for your ongoing support and belief in our mission. Together, we have built a stronger, safer, and more compassionate community for those experiencing domestic violence.

As we celebrate the accomplishments of the past 50 years, we also look ahead with hope and determination. The need for our services continues, and with your support, we will continue to evolve, grow, and ensure that women, children, and families have a safe place to turn for generations to come.
