The Tecumseh Fire Department Goodfellows stopped by with four carts full of donations, generously filled with holiday gifts for children. Their kindness and commitment help ensure that children in our community feel supported, valued, and cared for during the holiday season.

As you may know, we have been working toward estab

As you may know, we have been working toward establishing a transitional housing building in Windsor, Ontario for women and their children fleeing violence. While this is a significant and costly undertaking, it is a critically needed resource in our community. Transitional housing will provide temporary, supportive housing alongside essential services, help address homelessness, and ease pressure on shelter beds, allowing clients the time and space they need to heal without feeling rushed.

We are incredibly grateful to Unifor Local for their generous pledge of $100,000 toward this transitional housing initiative through the sponsorship of units within the building. This meaningful commitment brings us one step closer to making "A Place to Heal" a reality and reflects the strong community support behind this project.
