Join us for an evening of solidarity under the stars to raise funds and awareness for domestic violence prevention. By participating in the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation Night Light Walk on October 24, you’ll have the opportunity to give back and share a magical night of light with like-minded neighbors, friends, and family.
Together, with friends, family and neighbors, we will walk 3k through the streets of our community. It all starts at 6:15 p.m. at Walkerville Collegiate where we will gather to hear inspiring stories before we head out to walk a lantern-lit route lighting the way for women and children experiencing domestic violence in our community. The night’s activities will also feature coffee and espresso, a light snack after the walk, Face Painting, and a Clown/Balloon artist. We encourage everyone to participate either as individuals or by forming teams. Adults are asked to raise a minimum of $100, and youth $25. Each participant will receive a Royal LePage Shelter Foundation Night Light Walk knit hat and LED bracelet to illuminate our path.
100% of all proceeds raised are directed to Hiatus House, so sign up today knowing you will be making a real difference. With your support, we can help light the way forward for so many women and children who are ready to take their first brave steps away from violence.
