In the face of Ontario’s rising rates of femicide and GBV, communities, governments and leaders must respond with action.

Our community will take a stand on November 22, against gender-based violence (GBV) by raising the #WrappedinCourage flag at 12 noon and declaring November 25th the #InternationalDayfortheEliminationofVAW. The flag is a symbol of Windsor’s commitment to taking action towards addressing GBV, showing our support for survivors across Windsor-Essex County.

All are welcome to come to the event and show their support. Attending will also be Hiatus House staff, Windsor Police, Victim Services, Unifor and many more, for this important event.
